When will my order ship?


*Do not count the day your order is shipped when calculating ship time.

What could prevent my order from shipping?

You will receive an email from Customer Support if:

  • Your credit card declined
  • The shipping address cannot be confirmed
  • The shipping address provided is a PO BOX and you have selected a UPS Delivery
  • Your order includes a large quantity of items that may require lead time to source
  • The order appears to be missing information or appears fraudulent
  • Item is out of stock

Additional Factors that may delay shipping of orders:

  • The order was placed after 2 PM EST on a weekday (Monday-Friday)
  • The order was placed on a weekend or holiday
  • Major snowstorms or weather events in MA

Delivery by UPS (United Parcel Service)

UPS offers guaranteed delivery dates, although at certain peak times, UPS does not guarantee delivery dates for Ground Service. (typically December 11th-December 24th)

Both UPS and USPS are subject to delays due to severe weather, natural disasters and late airplanes. Weather delays can be caused at any point of transit between our location and yours. Delays do not occur often and UPS will make all attempts to reroute packages to avoid such delays. UPS does not offer delivery time guarantees to any residential address. UPS also does not deliver on Saturday.

UPS will, at the driver’s discretion, leave your package at your door. The driver’s main concern is that your package reaches you safely. In many cases, the driver cannot leave packages in high-traffic areas (such as apartment complexes, trailer parks). We recommend having your package shipped to a destination where there is someone available to take possession of the package, such as your workplace.

Customers may want to consider becoming a UPS My Choice member, as you will be able to schedule a delivery for a time that suits your schedule. UPS My Choice® allows you to schedule package delivery around your life. Get phone, email or text alerts that let you know when your package will arrive. Plus, you can reroute your package to your preferred location or have it delivered to The UPS Store near you. To sign up, visit ups.com/mychoice today. Delivery by USPS (United States Postal Service)
USPS does not offer guaranteed delivery dates or times and packages may be delayed due to severe weather, natural disasters and other events. If you receive USPS postal deliveries on Saturdays it is possible your order may be received on a Saturday with USPS shipping methods.

Regardless of your selected shipping method, your package will typically not require a signature, unless 911Costume.com deems it necessary due to the cost of the items ordered. If your order is scanned as “delivered” and you cannot locate the package please be sure to check around your yard, in your mail box and by side entrances or doorways. We suggest that customers also check with neighbors and household members as they may have accepted the package on your behalf. Occasionally delivery persons will deem the front door unsafe from theft and will “hide” your package. If the order was delivered to an apartment or office building please check the management office or receptionist.

If your order was shipped by UPS Sure Post, USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class Mail the final delivery would have been made by USPS. Please check your mailbox, parcel locker or community box for the package. We also suggest reaching out to your local post office to see if the package is being held after a notice has been left for pickup.

Time in Transit

  • USPS Priority Mail typically takes 2-3 business days to arrive.
  • USPS First Class Mail typically takes 3-4 business days to arrive.
  • UPS Sure Post typically takes ground + one business day to arrive.
  • Please refer below UPS Ground Time Map for time in transit via UPS Ground.

* Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands may take additional days to arrive.
* Alaska and Hawaii typically take an additional day regardless of what shipping method is selected.
* Rural and remote areas such as parts of WA, OR and ME may take longer for delivery.

Sales Tax
Sales tax is collected only on orders sent within the state of Massachusetts.

Tax Exempt Customers (Massachusetts only)
You will first need to place your order with the sales tax applied. Please make a note in the (special instructions) so 911Costume.com is aware of your tax exempt status. Once your order is placed you will need to email us a copy of your tax exempt form. Please send it to sales@allcostume.com along with a note including your order number, name and that you are a Tax Exempt customer. We will then adjust your order to reflect the deduction of tax.

Order Policies
All in-stock orders placed by 2 PM EST Monday-Friday will be shipped that day. Orders received after the 2 PM EST deadline will ship the following business day. We will continue to expedite shipments, daily, as late as possible. Please note that we do not ship on weekends or holidays.

Shipping is not available on weekends or holidays. Please allow time for this when selecting your shipping method.

Shipping cannot be refunded. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs including return and size exchange postage. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and shipping is non-refundable. See Return Policy and Size Exchanges for additional details.

Cancellations, Address Corrections and Order Changes

Customers who provide incorrect or incomplete addresses and packages are returned to us will need to provide correct address and re-pay shipping charge or the order is subject to 20% restocking fee. Shipping is non-refundable. Packages marked “Return to Sender”, “Undeliverable” or “Address Incomplete/Unknown” will also be subject to the same terms.

Cancellations and address corrections must be submitted immediately after the order is placed. After the package has reached the shipping facility address corrections and order changes cannot be made and the order cannot be cancelled.

Whenever possible changes can be made immediately after order has been placed. Once the order is packed it is moved to our shipping facility and is no longer accessible. Changes are not possible after the order has reached this point.

Please double check all information provided to 911Costume.com. Be sure to include resident name, university name, dorm number or campus mail box number, suite numbers, apartment numbers, building numbers, business name and any other pertinent information the courier will need to deliver your package.

Orders shipped by UPS

Incomplete or incorrect addresses provided to 911Costume.com during the checkout process may be subject to a $14 correction charge for address lookup or correction by shipping service. Packages marked Return to Sender or Refused also may be subject to a $14 correction charge. This is a charge UPS assesses when they must change or locate more information on an address to be deliverable.

Orders shipped by USPS
Incomplete or incorrect addresses supplied to 911Costume.com during the checkout process when USPS services are selected will not be corrected, as USPS does not have the ability to do so. Your order will be returned to us by USPS and can take several weeks or months to arrive back at 911Costumes.com. A $10 service charge may be applied due to USPS collecting additional funds to return an order.

Out of Stock Items
Occasionally, items are out of stock. When this occurs with an order we will send an email once to the address provided by the customer. If we do not receive a response by the following business day the order will be cancelled. We try our very best to fill all orders, however, we are unable to continue to contact customers repeatedly.

Payment Options and Credit Cards
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, American Express and PayPal. You may also use a check card or ATM card, as long as they are connected to one of the major credit card companies listed above. We only accept credit cards issued from a country we ship to. Your credit card will be billed at the time your order is shipped.

When we encounter a problem with a credit card we will send an email once to the address provided by the customer. If we do not receive a response by the following business day the order will be cancelled.

APO/FPO/DPO Shipping

We ship to U.S. Military addresses worldwide. Please allow additional delivery time for orders shipping to these destinations. Additional transit time after order is delivered to a U.S. Military Postal Office varies based on destination and is handled exclusively through the U.S Department of Defense.

Shipping fees for sending a package to Military Personnel who is stationed overseas is calculated at the same rate as shipping costs to customers in the U.S.

APO/FPO/DPO orders can only be shipped using USPS or UPS Sure Post (a partnership between USPS and UPS) shipping methods.

Tracking Packages and Delivery Confirmation

UPS Tracking numbers will not be “trackable” until after 6 PM EST Monday-Friday.

USPS tracking will be visible after carrier scans package (typically after 6 PM EST Monday-Friday) and will only be updated at various times throughout the shipping process.

USPS Delivery Confirmation numbers are not considered to be “real time tracking” and will not show any updates until the package is scanned and/or moved to another destination. Please note that if the package is not scanned delivery confirmation information will not update to reflect the movement.

We ship via UPS and USPS. UPS offers a means to track your package along with delivery date. The United States Postal Service does not offer “real-time tracking”. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

Shipping Costs

The cost of shipping methods will vary depending on weight, destination and the type of shipping chosen at checkout. Costs are calculated by USPS and UPS.

When an order is shipped with “free shipping” customer will be refunded less a 20% Restocking Fee on the item. Shipping is non-refundable

Bonanza, Etsy, eBay and Amazon Shipping

When shopping on eBay the only way to guarantee a shipping upgrade is by telephone with a valid credit card during regular business hours.  The customer must contact 911Costume.com, we are unable to contact the customer.

  • All Amazon orders are shipped with “standard” free shipping or “expedited” (additional cost) shipping. Further upgrades are not available.
  • All Etsy orders are shipped with “standard” shipping or “USPS Priority Mail shipping” (additional cost). Further upgrades are not available.
  • All Bonanza orders are shipped with “standard” shipping and upgrades are not available.

*Shipping is also non-refundable on Bonanza, Etsy, eBay and Amazon orders.
